The Georges N. Frem Foundation (GNFF) is a non-profit non-governmental organization active in Lebanon since 1997. GNFF is committed to support the socio-economic development of the country and prosperity of its people.
WHO WE ARE
To empower the Lebanese people, uphold their dignity and improve their quality of life through programs that promote their well-being and foster the economic and social development of their communities.
We strive to provide economic opportunities to key actors in the agriculture value chains, improve food safety and security to all, and grant access to education, skills, and talent development for the Lebanese youth.
Georges N. Frem devoted his life to helping build a productive Lebanese society where citizens live in dignity and respect. When he started the business in 1955, he established the motto: “What is good for the community is good for the company. What is good for the company, we will strive to do excellently and in a way that enriches the lives of our people.”
The founder firmly believed that a company’s success is correlated to the “absolute good” it could offer the community. As such, he introduced a new value in his company: service leadership.
As his business flourished to the international manufacturing group INDEVCO, he established a social arm, which later became the Georges N. Frem Foundation. GNFF came into existence to provide lasting solutions to pressing humanitarian and educational needs.
