BASATINE

2022 – Present

Bolstering Agriculture Systems’ Ability to Invest, Nourish, and Employ

GNFF partnered with CARE International Lebanon on BASATINE, a program funded by the Agence Française de Développement (AFD). The other members of the consortium are Berytech Foundation, Al Majmoua, Mercy Corps and the LOST.

BASATINE is an ambitious four-year project that supports agriculture and food security in Lebanon, benefiting families and vulnerable farmers in Akkar and the Beqaa.

The project provides income and technical support to cereal, legumes and vegetables farmers. It aims at generating employment and growth by strengthening domestic production and system linkages, while promoting gender equality.
